Official renders of the Huawei Mate 20 Lite have probably appeared. The device would have a 6.3″ LCD with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and there is a notch in the screen. The price is probably four hundred euros.

Telecom journalist Roland Quandt has put the renders online on WinFuture. He often publishes renders of unannounced phones on that website. Earlier this month, the device was already visible at the Chinese inspection agency Teena.

According to Quandt, the specifications of the Huawei Mate 20 Lite largely correspond to those of the Huawei P Smart+ released this month. That device has the same screen and the same Kirin 710-soc, which is made at 12nm. The appearance of that device is different.

According to Quandt, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite will have a maximum of 6GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage. At the back are two cameras, with resolutions of probably twenty and two megapixels. On the front, the dual camera would have resolutions of twenty-four and two megapxiels. The aperture of the rear camera would be f/1.8.

The device would weigh 172 grams and be covered with glass at the back. Quandt states that Huawei will release the Mate 20 Lite at the end of August and that stores will offer the phone for around four hundred euros. This makes the device slightly more expensive than the Mate 10 Lite, which came out at the end of last year for about three hundred and fifty euros.
