A render has appeared online of what would be the Nokia Lumia 630, a midrange device from Nokia with onscreen buttons and Windows Phone 8.1. Microsoft or Nokia will probably only announce the device after the presentation of Windows Phone 8.1.
The render, put online by telecom insider Evan Blass, who almost always posts correct images of unannounced devices on his Twitter account @EVLeaks, shows the Lumia 630 in black, white, yellow, green and orange, colors that Nokia often uses for its devices. The camera button is missing and there is also no flash next to the camera on the back, things that are still present on the predecessor Lumia 620. A dualsim variant of the 630 would also appear in the form of the Lumia 635.
According to previous rumors, the Lumia 630 has a 4.5″ screen with a resolution of 854×480 pixels and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-soc, assisted by a RAM of 1GB. Nokia or Microsoft would like to present the device in April, as Microsoft announced Build Windows Phone 8.1 at developer conference.
Microsoft has so far maintained that the acquisition of Nokia’s telephone branch would be completed this month, after which Nokia will disappear as the name of smartphones and Microsoft itself would present the device. It is unclear when the device should be released.
