Journey, originally released in 2012 for the PlayStation 3, is available for iOS users. The publisher Annapurna Interactive has brought the title to the mobile platform.

Journey is available via the App Store for 5.50 euros. Annapurna Interactive has not announced the arrival of the iOS version before and only posted a short message on Twitter, including a short trailer. There will probably not be an Android version; Annapurna indicates that the port is only for PC and iOS and there are no plans to bring the game to Nintendo Switch.

The game revolves around a figure in a robe who has to find his way to a mountain in the distance. To get there, you have to cross a desert first. Along the way, the player is treated to beautiful landscapes and music. You can also communicate with other players, but this is not possible via speech or text.

On Twitter, there are a number of users reporting problems getting the iOS version to work properly on their iPhone or iPad. So there is one user who complains that the game on her iPad mini 2 does not run at all and there are questions about the best graphics settings, for example 60fps and a high graphic quality with a user gives problems on his iPhone XS Max.

Journey was created by the American independent developer Thatgamecompany and was released on the PlayStation 3 in March 2012. The game then came out in a modified version for the PlayStation 4 in July 2015 and a port for the PC followed two months ago. This PC version is only available through the Epic Games Store.
