A Portuguese site has found images in the latest iOS 13 beta that indicate Apple plans to announce its next iPhones on September 10. That’s in line with data from previous iPhone announcements.

A screenshot of an iPhone with a notch is called ‘HoldForRelease’, iHelp BR discovered. The calendar shows ‘tue 10’ on it. That most likely refers to Tuesday, September 10. In recent years, Apple has often used the second Tuesday or Wednesday in September to announce new iPhones.

Other screenshots say “mon 23,” which the site says indicates that iOS 13 will be released on Monday, September 23. Since iPhones often hit stores a week and a half after the announcement, the release of iOS 13 would be after the release of the new iPhones. A Japanese provider already suggested a release on September 20.

Earlier this week there were already rumors about the names for the upcoming iPhones. According to the French iPhonesoft, the successor to the iPhone XR is called iPhone 11. The iPhone XS successor would be called iPhone 11 Pro, while the XS Max will receive a successor in the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The French site relies on the names that case makers give to the phones.

According to previous rumors, there are few changes to the new iPhones. The screen sizes would be the same as current iPhones. However, according to renders, the cameras on the back are in a square arrangement and the word iPhone would no longer be on the back.
