OnePlus denies releasing a smartphone this year

OnePlus is not planning to come up with a successor to the One smartphone this year. The Chinese company has denied previous rumors that a smartphone code-named Lettuce is in the pipeline.

OnePlus told AndroidPolice that it has no new smartphone planned for this year. Cyanogen, the company that provides the software for the One smartphone with the CyanogenMod version of Android, indicated that there is no device codenamed Lettuce. As a result, it does not seem likely that a successor for the One smartphone from OnePlus will be released in the short term.
