NZXT has announced a case developed in collaboration with Asus. The Noctis 450 ROG supports Aura Sync, Asus’ RGB system, and has a special ‘Gun Gray’ finish.

The housing offers space for an atx motherboard. Furthermore, six 3.5″ drives and eight 2.5″ SSDs or HDDs can be concealed. There is no room for a 5.25″ drive. The connections that are usually found at the front of the housing are mounted on the top of the housing and consist of two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports and two audio connections.

The front of the case, just like the top, can accommodate three 120mm fans or two 140mm versions. At the back there is room for a 140mm copy. NZXT ships three 120mm fans and one 140mm variant with the case, all of which can be controlled with the built-in fan controller. Dust filters are installed at the front and under the power supply space.

The support for Aura Sync allows the RGB lighting to be synchronized with the LED lighting found on various Asus motherboards. This can be controlled with special software from Asus.

NZXT uses a suggested retail price of 179.90 euros. The company indicates that the housing will be available in Europe from mid-February. The variant without Aura Sync has been around for some time and is available in the Pricewatch for about 130 euros.
