Publisher Electronic Arts and development studio DICE will announce a new game in the Battlefield series on Friday evening, May 6 at 10 p.m. The first images of the game are also shown. The game won’t be released until later, probably in the fall.
The announcement will be available Friday evening via the Battlefield website, which is now counting down to the introduction moment. Specific information about the Battlefield 4 successor is not yet available, but according to rumors, the game will take place during the First World War.
Developer DICE previously indicated that a new Battlefield game is being worked on. Publisher EA has also promised that the game will be on the shelves ‘before April 2017’. The game, which is likely to be released on PC as well as Xbox One and PlayStation 4, may be released on October 26 this year. That release date was previously leaked through a store, but it’s not clear how accurate this date is.
