MSI has added three new gaming laptops to its range. The Titan GT 77, the Raider GE and the Vector GP. Each of these laptops can be equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900 HX and contains slots for DDR5 memory. The Titan GT received a mechanical keyboard.
The Titan GT77 can be equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900 HX, a chip normally found in desktop systems, and that in combination with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or an RTX 3070 Ti for laptops. The gaming laptop will have four DDR5 memory slots that can hold up to 128GB of RAM. The device includes three NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 x 4 SSD slots and a single NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen5 x4 slot. The computer supports a maximum of 32TB of storage space. The whole is cooled by four fans and seven heat pipes. The Titan GT77 comes with a 99Wh battery. It can be charged with a 330W charger. The battery life was not disclosed.
The Titan GT77 has a 17.3” screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, making it a UHD panel. The display supports the full DCI-P3 color spectrum. The laptop comes with a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Ultra Low Switches. Each key has its own RBG lighting that can be changed via the supplied software. A light bar was installed at the back of the laptop, which can also be adjusted via software. The whole weighs 3.3 kilograms and measures 397 x 330 x 23 mm.
Depending on the model, the Raider GE will have either a 17.3” screen or a 15.6” panel. A 17.3” UHD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a refresh rate of 120Hz can be chosen with the Raider GE 77 HX. With the Raider GE67 HX, this will be a 15.6-inch OLED screen with a QHD resolution with a refresh rate of 240Hz. According to MSI, that OLED panel has a response time of 0.2ms. All panels fully support the DCI-P3 color spectrum. The Raider laptops also get RGB lighting. Each key on the keyboard has its own RBG lighting that can be changed via the supplied software.
Like the Titan GT77, the new Raiden laptops can also be opted for the Intel Core i9-12900 HX. This is possible in combination with an Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti for laptops. Both gaming laptops have two DDR5 memory slots in which a maximum of 64GB of RAM can be installed. The devices come with a 99Wh battery and a 330W charger. The Raider GE77 HX measures 397 x 284 by 259 mm and weighs 2.9 kg. The Raider GE67 measures 358 x 267 x 234 mm and weighs 2.38 kg.
MSI is also introducing new Vector gaming laptops. The Vector GP76 HX and Vector GP66 HX. These devices can also be supplied with the Intel Core i9-12900 HX and Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti for laptops. Both devices get two slots for DDR5 memory and support a maximum of 64GB of memory. The Vector GP76 comes with a 17.3 screen. Either with a UHD resolution of 3840 by 2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, or with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 240Hz. All panels support the full DCI-P3 color spectrum.
