Motorola has sent out invitations for its own presentation on November 13, and it clearly hints at a foldable smartphone. The invitation also shows the classic Razr, a flip phone that was a great success for the manufacturer in 2004.

The event will take place on November 13 in Los Angeles, Cnet reports. The manufacturer also has an announcement next week, but it is in Brazil and is probably about the presentation of cheaper models like the G8 Plus.

There have been rumors since the beginning of the year about a variant of the Motorola Razr with a folding screen. That phone, unlike current models with a folding screen, such as the Samsung Galaxy Fold, Royole FlexPai and Huawei Mate X, would not fold out into a tablet in width. Instead, users have to expand it lengthwise. The shape would therefore correspond to that of an old flip phone like the Razr.

Earlier rumors point to a device with, when unfolded, a screen with a 6.2″ diagonal and notch. The phone would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 soc. It is unknown whether the phone would only be released in the United States or whether there will also be a worldwide release.
