The document, which is intended for developers, seems to confirm that the next Windows release will be a version of Windows 11. There have been rumors for some time that Microsoft wants to release Windows 12 soon, but nothing has been officially announced yet.
Windows 11 24H2 should be released late in the third quarter of the year or early in the fourth, Windows Latest says based on other documents. This is consistent with previous rumors, which state that Microsoft is planning a major release of Windows for the fall with support for new AI functionalities. This includes a better version of CoPilot.
