The wireless Tone Free earphones with antibacterial charging case from LG will cost 149 euros and will be available from July 3, LG announced. The manufacturer also announces three new bluetooth speakers that are now for sale for a starting price of 59 euros.
The two new LG Tone Free models will both be available for purchase from July 3. Both audio earplugs have a battery life of six hours and according to LG can be charged twice with the supplied case. LG works together with Meridian Audio for the earphones. Both earphones receive four different audio presets, are ipx4 certified and support Google Assistant or Apple Siri, provided they are connected to a device that supports one of these assistants.
The difference between the HBS-FN4 and the HBS-FN6 is that the latter comes with an antibacterial charging case. This UV nano case is said to use UV light to fight 99.9 percent of various types of bacteria. The HBS-FN4 has a suggested retail price of 99 euros; the model with the UVnano case costs 149 euros.

In addition to the two ears, LG shows three new Xboom Go speakers. LG also works with Meridian for these products. The PL2 is the smallest model and has a 1500mAh battery that gives a usage time of ‘more than 10 hours’. This model is charged in 4 hours and weighs 0.5 kg. The PL2 measures 126x82x80mm and has a 15W 1.75-inch speaker. The PL2 is now for sale for 59 euros.
At 201mm, the PL5 is wider than the PL2 and slightly heavier at 0.62kg. This model has a larger battery of 3900mAh that should offer a usage time of more than 18 hours. This battery is also charged in 4 hours. This speaker has two 15W speakers that are 1.75 inches in size. The PL5 has built-in lighting effects and costs 149 euros.
The largest speaker is the PL7 with a size of 245mmx98mmx98mm. This product has a larger battery of 3900mAh and a usage time of more than 24 hours. Due to the larger battery, this speaker weighs significantly more than the two other speakers at 1.46 kg. The PL7 has two 2.3″ woofers with a total output of 30W. Like the PL5, the PL7 has built-in lighting effects. In addition, the top model can work as a power bank. The PL7 costs 199 euros.
Each speaker can handle bluetooth and aux; they use usb-c for charging. The Xboom Go models are ipx5 certified and have support for Google Assistant or Apple Siri. The three speakers are available in blue and white; the Tone Free earphones come in black or white.
