Lego enthusiasts recreate buildings from Age of Empires game series

A number of Lego enthusiasts have recreated various buildings from the Age of Empires series at their own event. These are very detailed representations of well-known buildings such as the mill, the market and the forge.

In their own words, the makers of the buildings got inspiration for the project when one of the Lego User Group members introduced the other members to the classic RTS game. The makers of the buildings are all members of the same LUG, called InnovaLUG, and have carried out the project as part of a ‘flash MOC’.

A MOC stands for ‘my own creation’, which means that a Lego object was built without a manual and that it is the maker’s own creation. During a ‘flash MOC’, the Lego enthusiasts create several objects with the same theme, in this case related to Age of Empires. Higher resolution photos and more detail shots can be viewed on the Flickr page of one of the InnovaLUG members.
