AMD did not release Hypr-RX software feature on time

AMD has not met its self-set deadline for the release of Hypr-RX. The feature for Adrenalin announced last year combines Boost, Anti-Lag and SuperResolution, and was expected to be released in the first half of the year.

AMD announced Hypr-RX at the same time as the RX 7900 XT and XTX in November last year. AMD then said it would release the feature in the first half of this year and Videocardz notes that that did not happen. The first half of the year ended last weekend.

Hypr-RX should become a mode where users can enable three functions with a single click. Boost dynamically reduces resolution when the software detects motion in a frame to maintain performance. Super Resolution scales up games using an algorithm and Anti-Lag should reduce input lag. AMD has not provided a new expected release date for the feature.
