A second season of the League of Legends animated series Arcane is coming to Netflix. The first season came out in early November and the sequel is already in production. It has not yet been announced when the new season will be released.
Arcane has been on Netflix since November 7 and the last episode of the first season was released last Saturday. It was also announced at the end that a second season is on the way. In a teaser video on YouTube and a message on Twitter It can be seen that production has already started.
Judging by the teaser, it looks like several characters from the first season are returning in the second season. Arcane is an animated series based on the characters of League of Legends, the popular multiplayer online battle arena game from Riot Games.
League of Legends Arcane was announced in 2019. The series is animated by the French Fortiche Productions. That company previously made short League of Legends animations for Riot Games. The first season received good reviews. It has a score of 100 percent on Rottentomatoes and a 9.4 on IMDB.
