IKEA has updated its Home Smart app for controlling its smart lamps. It is now possible to set timers that automatically adjust to sunrise and sunset.
The Home Smart apps for iOS and Android have received an update that adds the new capability. Pressing the time while setting a timer will bring up the option to automatically adjust for sunrise and sunset. A deviation can also be specified, for example to activate the timer slightly before or after sunrise or sunset.
IKEA’s Home Smart app is the software used to control the manufacturer’s smart home appliances, such as Trådfri lamps, smart blinds and Symfonisk speakers. The latest update also adds support for the Silvergloss LED strip. This is dimmable lighting intended for bathrooms.
