Hannspree introduces 10″ tablet at IFA

The company Hannspree will introduce a 10″ tablet at the IFA trade fair in Berlin next week. The device, whose name is not yet known, will be equipped with a Tegra II chipset and must run on Android 2.2.

The 10″ touchscreen of the 790-gram tablet has a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. The chipset is equipped with a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processor with a clock speed of 1GHz. There is also 512MB of DDR2 memory, as well as 16GB of flash memory for data storage. .

Hannspree has equipped its 14mm thick tablet with Android 2.2. Wireless connections can be made via 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1, while a mini-USB and a mini-HDMI connection are also available. Furthermore, the storage can be increased with micro SD cards. A 3500mAh battery is placed internally, which in combination with Nvidia’s Tegra II chipset could play videos up to 1080p resolution for eight hours.
