Yamada has released a new firmware for its DVX-6000 and DVX-6100 home entertainment sets. It was released on December 19 and includes improvements in playback and subtitles. Both versions are incorporated in this download† The changelog looks like this:
Firmware DVX-6000/6100
- Supports 2 Audio streams within MPEG4
- Multiple Audiostream support within MPEG2 (S-VCD multiple language)
- Improved subtitle support(SRT/SUB) Subtitle file must be shorter then 19 characters, use “Angle” key on remote control to select the subtitle before you play the AVI
- Improved JPEG playback
- Some MPEG/MPEG4 fixes
