If this latest firmware version is already installed on the camera, you do not need to download or install this firmware update. You can check the current firmware versions via the Firmware version option in the camera setup menu.

The following improvements have been made in version 1.01 of firmware A and B

  • Support for 64 GB memory cards has been added.
  • When the Multi-Power Battery Pack MB-D10 was used with AA batteries, the battery indicator indicated that the batteries in the MB-D10 were exhausted or switched to the battery in the camera, even though the batteries in the MB-D10 sufficient charge. This problem has now been resolved.
  • When certain memory cards were inserted into the camera, “CHA” was displayed in the top control panel and images could not be captured. This problem has now been resolved.
