Netgear has for his Nighthawk AX8– and Nighthawk AX12routers released new firmware. Also referred to as RAX80 and RAX120, these routers can send and receive data on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands based on the 802.11ax standard. In addition, six gigabit Ethernet ports are present, one of which is on the wan side and the other five can be used internally, and two USB 3.0 connections are present. The version number of the update is 1.0.1.40 for the AX8 and 1.0.0.64 for the AX12. The changes look like this:

- Fixes some minor bugs.
RAX80 version 1.0.1.34:

RAX120 version 1.0.0.64:
- Supports WPA3.
- Fixed some Web GUI minor issues
