Download Firmware iRiver iHP-120 1.40

Baltar found on the site from iRiver new firmware for the iHP-120 MP3 player. Version 1.4 fixes some bugs and creates some new features. Those who are not yet familiar with flashing an iRiver device can here find a how-to. A full, lavishly illustrated listing of the changes is here to find. The bug fixes are as follows:

• Fixed the bug that couldn’t play 8kHz MP3 file.
• Fixed the bug that couldn’t play music file with hidden file property.
• Fixed the bug that system freezes when playing some Ogg files.
• Fixed the bug that couldn’t display correctly when browsing Japanese text file that were created on the Japanese OS.
• Fixed the bug that coudn’t display correctly when ID3 tag contains both UNICODE and Local Code.
• Fixed the bug that couldn’t display ID3 tag with Western European language which contains umlaut or accent correctly.
• Couldn’t operate remote when main unit is set to hold and a button is pressed.
