Firmware Update: DrayTek Vigor 2820/n/Vn/VS/VSn 3.3.7.1

DrayTek has released new firmware for the Vigor 2820 series routers. These routers are suitable for passing ADSL2, ADSL2+, cable and VoIP connections. In the family include the Vigor 2820the Vigor 2820n and the Vigor 2820Vn. To download the firmware, a free registration on the DrayTek forum is required. The changelog of this release lists the following changes and improvements:

ISDN

  • Corrected: Call barring failure for ISDN on-net call.
  • Corrected: Ringing FXS1 & FXS2 failure for ISDN broadcast loopthrough call.
  • Corrected: Four calls are in ISDN1-S0 & ISDN2-S0.If ISDN1-S0 & ISDN2-S0 hang up, the router will reboot

VoIP

  • Corrected: VoIP compatibility issue with proxy server (Vodafone.sip in Germany)
  • Fixed: A call hold related bug.

VPN

  • Corrected: Compatibility issue with SonicWall VPN client.
  • Fixed: Passthrough session was reset because of ICMP “Fragmentation needed” packet received.
  • Improved: Support VPN chart in Syslog.

wireless

  • Fixed: Wireless time schedule does not work.
  • Fixed: New wireless client cannot connect after forcing down WLAN schedule works.

3G Connection

  • Improved: Support Huawei E173

4G Connection

  • Improved: Support Sierra 320U, LTE modem and so on.

TR-069

  • Improved: Add TR-069 parameters for VigorACS SI in Firewall setting.
  • Corrected: TR-069 configurations disappear after upgrading firmware from v3.3.5.3 to v3.3.7

Others

  • Improved: Add a Telnet command to disable one of the DHCP server options (telnet command: srv dhcp primWINS).
  • Improved: Remove ISDN wording on Web UI when using non-ISDN models.
