Canon recently released new firmware for the EOS 700D DSLR with version number 1.1.3, as a successor to version 1.1.1 or lower. The update is 19MB in size and downloads are available for Windows and OS X. Version 1.1.3 should, among other things, fix a problem with shooting Live View images in combination with certain lenses.
Firmware version 1.1.3 includes the following fixes.
- Resolves an issue where Err01 or Err60 is displayed on the screen or, in rare cases, the camera locks when shooting in Live View shooting mode (or movie shooting mode) and using the following STM zoom lenses: EF-S 18 -55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM.
- Corrects some spelling errors in the menu screen (for Korean).
