Archos has released firmware version number 2.1.4 for its 28, 32, 43, 70 and 101 internet tablets, which come with Android. This release fixes a minor issue that caused applications to be forced to close and follows the previous release in just a few days. The changes in the previous release are therefore also listed below:

- Applications: fixes force close happening on applications not handling properly SecurityException (eg AppMonster and Dolphin)
- Network shares: limit scanning to /24 subnet mask
