Action game Evil West from Polish developer Flying Wild Hog will be released on September 20. The third-person action game pits players against vampires and monsters in a fantasy setting based on the Wild West.
According to the game description, players take on the role of a vampire hunter of a “top secret institution”, but vampires manifest themselves in Evil West like all kinds of different monsters. They can be defeated with a variety of hand and fire weapons, including a flamethrower and a lightning gauntlet.
The makers promise a campaign with a story and bloody battles. The game can be played single player or in co-op. Weapons can be upgraded and players can develop their own playstyle to defeat ‘the supernatural hordes’.
Publisher Focus Home Interactive is releasing Evil West for a suggested retail price of $50 for current and previous generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The PC version will appear on Steam. The game was created by Flying Wild Hog. That Polish studio previously made the Hard Reset games and the three Shadow Warrior remakes.
