On the Hastec site we find new beta drivers for the ‘ultimate’ gamers mice, the Razer BoomSlang 1000dpi and 2000dpi. These drivers are specially designed for Windows XP. The release notes tell us the following:

WinXP. The driver now works for WinXP (USB Only).
Note: If you are going to upgrade your Win9x to WinXP and aren’t going to install to a clean partition, you should uninstall the Win9x drivers, install WinXP, then install the Razer Mouse drivers in WinXP.
