Driver update: AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 18.9.2

AMD has released a new update to its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition- drivers. The drivers are only suitable for the HD 7750 and higher, the HD 8570 and higher, and the cards from the R5, R7, R9 and RX series. Only versions 7 and 10 of Windows are supported. For people using Windows 8.1, version 17.7.1 is the latest version. Drivers for the first generation of Windows 8 are no longer made at all. For older cards, now referred to as legacy or non- gcn Catalyst Software Suite version 15.7.1 is the last stable release.

Adrenalin Edition ] is the successor of Crimson ReLive Edition and adds a Connect tab, which allows streaming to social media including simple editing options. In addition, settings of the graphics card can be adjusted without leaving a game by means of an overlay and the settings can also be adjusted via a mobile app. In this update, some issues have been fixed and there are performance improvements in the games F1 2018, Fortnite, Shadow or the Tomb Raider and Star Control: Origins.

    Known Issues

    • Some AMD Desktop Desktop Processors with Radeon Vega Graphics system configurations previous Radeon Software version. A recommended workaround is to perform a clean installation during Radeon Software installation.
    • Radeon RX Vega Series graphics products may experience elevated memory clocks during system idle
    • System configurations with 16+ CPU cores may reboot during installation when upgrading Radeon Software from
