Destiny expansion The Dark Below launches December 9
Activision has released the release date of Destiny’s first expansion. The Dark Below is available from December 9th and will cost $19.99 separately, which is about 15.68 euros. The additional content includes a new storyline, weapons and other equipment.
The arrival of the The Dark Below expansion was no longer a secret. In the past period, players have already discovered several bugs that gave an indication of the arrival of the first expansion. However, the release date remained unclear and Activision announced on Wednesday that the DLC will be released on December 9 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The Dark Below is included with the Destiny Expansion Pass or can be purchased separately.
However, it was still unclear exactly what content the expansion would contain. The publisher has also revealed more about this. The expansion introduces a new character in The Dark Below, named Eris. There is a warning that The Hive would like to summon a powerful god, then destroy the Earth. In three new quests, players must take out The Hive’s troops in order to save humanity.
As players progress, players are given the opportunity to earn new armor. The maximum level is increased to 32 and five so-called bounty slots are added to the game. The Dark Below also introduces three new multiplayer maps, a co-op Strike and a Raid suitable for six players.
