D-Link has announced that on December 1, ifttt will end support for its mydlink Home devices. From that point on, ifttt applets that users have set up for those devices will no longer work.

The end of support applies to certain smart outlets, a motion sensor, a moisture sensor, an alarm and D-Link security cameras. D-Link does not give a reason for stopping ifttt for mydlink in the announcement on its site.

The manufacturer emphasizes that the mydlink Home devices can still be operated with the mydlink Home app, but that ifttt applets will be closed and removed after November 30. Mydlink is D-Link’s smart home platform, controlled via the mydlink Home app. The If This, Then That service allows users to automate certain actions between web services and devices.
