Cooler Master releases the MasterCase EG200, a housing for external video cards with Thunderbolt 3 and a built-in laptop stand. The housing comes with a 550W power supply and is available for a suggested retail price of 350 euros.

The MasterCase EG200 has a USB-C connection with Thunderbolt 3 and can be connected to a PC or Mac. Cooler Master uses an Intel JHL7440 controller with support for 40Gbit/s. A connected laptop can be charged via USB-C with 60W.

The housing fits a video card of up to 325x54x141mm and the built-in Cooler Master V550 SFX Gold power supply should be able to support most video cards of the moment. In addition to a slot for a video card, it is also possible to add extra storage. The case has a SATA connection and space on the front for a 2.5″ or 3.5″ drive.

In addition to the Thunderbolt 3 port, there are also three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports and a USB Micro-B 3.2 Gen 1 port on the back. A bracket is mounted on the right side of the cabinet into which a laptop can be slid.
