Complaints about Versatel’s ADSL2+ are increasing. There is great enthusiasm for the service: a total of 20,000 people have signed up for the fast ADSL subscription, where all Eredivisie football matches can be viewed. The Consumers’ Association has identified the problems, but has itself received few complaints. To inventory the extent of the problems, the organization wants to start a hotline from next week. The issues Versatel customers face include long help desk wait times, unfinished installations, and slow rollout.

Versatel is also aware of the problems and acknowledges that mistakes have been made. But to be able to follow all football matches from the start of the season, you had to register before 1 July. The company has also clearly stated this. Versatel will do everything it can to help customers and will contact customers that the company knows of problems. Versatel would like to work with the consumer association, but the company still wants to build a good relationship with customers, according to Versatel.
