Code from the Google Bard website suggests that the AI chatbot will soon get a paid variant called Bard Advanced. This option appears to be included with a Google One subscription. For now, the company itself has not shared any details about Bard Advanced.
AndroidPolice notes in response to a tip on X Please note that the Advanced version of the chatbot will be available to try for free for three months according to code from the website. A link then points to the currently inoperative URL, which suggests that the service will be made available via a Google One subscription.
For now it is one experimental version of Bard free to use. Google first mentioned Bard Advanced in early December 2023 when announcing Gemini Ultra. It is not clear what additional functionalities the Advanced version will have and whether the regular version of the chatbot will remain available for free.
