Activision has released the remaster of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 single player campaign for the PlayStation 4. It is a timed exclusive. The campaign will be available April 30 for PC and Xbox One.
On Twitter reports the Call of Duty account that the new remaster is coming to the other platforms in a month. Activision also confirms with the message that the refreshed single player campaign is available for the PlayStation 4. The game already appeared in the PlayStation Store with some users on Monday. The game costs 25 euros there.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster will not have multiplayer. It only concerns the campaign of the game that originally appeared in 2009. The remaster is a graphically polished version of that. Since 2018 there have been indications that the remaster was on the way.
