Manufacturer Bose has announced its first gaming headset. It is a variant of the QC 35 II, a regular headphone from Bose. Without the microphone, the headphones can also be used for listening to music on the go, the manufacturer says.

Because the headset can be used for gaming and music, Bose talks about a 2-in-1 headset on the product page. The QC 35 II Gaming Headset, just like the regular version, has active noise cancellation. The module with the microphone can be connected via a 3.5mm port. The module contains a boom mic that suppresses background noise.

The battery lasts 40 hours with wired gaming according to Bose, while with wireless use it would remain 20 hours. With fifteen minutes of charging, the battery is again one-eighth full, good for 2.5 hours of wireless and 5 hours of wired use.

For the time being, Bose only sells the new headset in the United States and Canada, while a release in China should follow soon. It is unknown when and whether the headset will appear in the Benelux. The headset costs $ 330 in the US, about the same price as a regular QC 35 II.
