Apple may release a 15″ MacBook Air in 2023. It is a larger version of the recently announced MacBook Air with M2-soc. In addition, the company is reportedly working on a new 12″ laptop, the specifications of which are still unknown.

The larger 15-inch MacBook Air won’t be available until Spring 2023, says tech journalist Mark Gurman based on insiders. It is the first time that a 15-inch version of the MacBook Air would appear. There may also be a laptop from Apple with the same size for the first time since the 12-inch MacBook from 2019. This smaller laptop is expected at the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024. It is not clear whether it is an entry-level model or whether the device has more extensive specifications.

According to Bloomberg, the upcoming 15-inch model is a larger version of the 13.6-inch MacBook Air Apple announced at WWDC earlier this week. A new 13″ MacBook Pro was also introduced. These laptops both have Apple’s new M2-soc, the successor to the M1-soc.

New MacBook Pros with M2 Pro and M2 Max socs are also reportedly coming later this year. Bloomberg reports that the release could also be pushed to early 2023. This again concerns 14″ and 16″ models, which will not differ much from the current line-up except for the faster socs. In addition, according to Bloomberg, Apple is already working on an M3 soc, as well as new versions of the Mac mini and Mac Pro.
