Bethesda confirms that Prey 2 will never be released

Publisher Bethesda has announced that development of Prey 2 has stopped. The game from developer Human Head Studios has never been able to live up to expectations and would not meet the desired quality requirements.

Bethesda say no longer believing that the game could be a success. The collaboration with Human Head Studios could get a sequel, but we have to see what form that is.

Bethesda announced Prey 2 in 2011. Human Head Studios was once again responsible for the development of the game. Prey 2 would mainly focus on fast-paced action in an open world. It then remained silent around the release. At first the message came out that the game would be postponed to 2012, but at the end of that year it became clear that the development of Prey 2 had been halted. However, Bethesda has only now confirmed that the game will definitely not be released. Why the publisher has waited so long is unknown.
