Bethesda has announced a new installment in The Elder Scrolls series, without giving any further details about the game. The Elder Scrolls: Blades will also be released for smartphones and tablets.

The Elder Scrolls VI is in pre-production at Bethesda. The publisher released a trailer, which only shows a landscape, without revealing further details about the game. The last full installment in the series, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, was released in 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. That part did get expansions and remasters.

Bethesda Game Studios is also working on a mobile RPG called The Elder Scrolls: Blades. Players are members of the ancient Blades order and must restore their ruined city to its former glory. It is a free-to-play game that will be released for iOS and Android in the fall of this year. This week there is an early access program that players can register for.
