Bethesda has officially announced The Elder Scrolls: Castles. The smartphone game has the same developer as Fallout Shelter and lets players manage and expand a castle. This game appeared on Google Play in September and cannot yet be played in Europe.

Bee The Elder Scrolls: Castles players get to see a castle from the side, with different rooms and characters, similar to Fallout Shelter. One day in the real world is one year in the game. Players must keep their subjects happy, otherwise they may try to kill the player.

In the game, players can choose which rooms they want to add and those rooms can also be expanded. Players will be faced with quests involving ‘classic Elder Scrolls enemies’. These quests can be used to win ‘valuable items’.

The Elder Scrolls: Castles is available on Google Play and the App Store, and requires Android 10 and a Pixel 2 equivalent or later, or iOS 13 and an iPhone 8 or later. Bethesda is talking about a ‘soft launch’ and says the game will be ‘coming to more countries in the coming months’. For now, the game can only be played in the Philippines. The game was already released on Google Play in September, but was only announced by Bethesda this week.

We’re excited to finally share The Elder Scrolls: Castles, our new mobile game from the team behind Fallout Shelter. The team has been hard at work on it for the last few years and we absolutely adore it.
