Developer Sharkmob is working on a battleroyal game set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe. The game should be released in the second half of 2021. Few details are known yet.
The Sharkmob website has a cinematic trailer and a short description of the game. The game is about fights between different vampire sects, which take place in the streets and on the roofs of Prague. The battleroyal game will have a solo mode and an option to play in teams.
Players are given supernatural powers, weapons and blood. Those ingredients should enable players to fight and become stronger. Other concrete details about the untitled game have not been disclosed. It is also not yet clear for which platforms the game will be released.
Sharkmob was founded in 2017 by developers who have previously worked on The Division and the Hitman games. The studio has a department in Malmö, Sweden and an office in London. The studio is working on several projects, but has not released any games yet.
Another studio is working on the rpg Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, which should also be released next year. This game is a sequel to the first installment from 2004 and is not related to the development of the battleroyal game. Both games are set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe, which has existed as a tabletop RPG since 1991.
