Asus has announced a new model in the Transformer Book series of convertibles. The Transformer Book T100HA will arrive later this year and will also run Windows 10. The 2-in-1 laptop includes a 10.1″ touchscreen.

Transformer Book T100HA is the successor to the popular Transformer Book T100TA. The processors, among other things, will be upgraded: the new version will receive a quad-core Atom from Intel’s Cherry Trail generation, which Intel produces at 14nm. The latter should have a positive effect on the battery life: Asus claims that the model has a battery life of 14 hours.

Furthermore, the device will be 8.45 mm thick and the weight will be 580 grams. In addition, the hybrid laptop will receive 4GB of RAM and the manufacturer provides the model with a reversible USB 3.1 connection of type-c. By the time the Transformer Book T100HA hits the market, in the third quarter, Microsoft will have released Windows 10 and this OS will be installed by default on the system.

The T100HA will be available in four colors, but Asus has not yet announced the prices and other specifications.
