ASUS introduces compact Zenfone 10 smartphone with 5.9-inch 144Hz screen

ASUS introduces its Zenfone 10 phone. This smartphone has a 5.9″ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. The Zenfone 10 will be available immediately. The recommended retail price is 799 euros for a variant with 8GB memory and 128GB storage.

ASUS provides the Zenfone 10 from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm. The device also has up to 16GB Lpddr5x memory and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. According to the manufacturer, the screen is relatively compact with a diagonal of 5.9 inches and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The manufacturer claims that the screen can display the full sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces.

There are two cameras on the back of the device. The primary sensor has a 50-megapixel resolution with both optical and electronic image stabilization for video recording, for example. ASUS claims that this image stabilization has been improved compared to the Zenfone 9. The second camera has a wide-angle lens and a resolution of 13 megapixels. The front camera, in turn, is incorporated in a hole in the screen and has a 32-megapixel resolution, where the previous Zenfone 9 had a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

The Zenfone 10 also has a 4300mAh battery. This can be charged wired with 30W. This time the phone supports wireless charging with a maximum power of 15W. The device also has a 3.5mm jack for headphones. The phone also has an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

The ASUS Zenfone 10 will be released in the Benelux on June 29. The phone will be available from 799 euros for a variant with 8GB memory and 128GB storage. A model with 12GB memory and 256GB storage costs 849 euros. The most expensive model gets 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage for 929 euros.
