Apple has released the latest test version of iOS 13.4 for developers. That means that in all likelihood the new version of the operating system will be released next week. iPadOS 13.4 will also be released next week.

On Wednesday, Apple put the Golden Master versions of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 online, 9to5Mac writes. That is the last test version, with which the manufacturer checks whether major problems occur. If not, iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4 are out next week. Apple has already said that iPadOS 13.4 will be released next Tuesday, but a date for iOS has not yet been announced. Presumably both operating systems will be released on the same day.

The most significant change in iPadOS is the addition of mouse and trackpad support. This also allows users to use Apple’s separate keyboards and mice in combination with iPads. In iOS for iPhones and the iPod touch, Apple goes back to the previous toolbar design in the Mail app, among other things, so that there are four icons at the bottom instead of two. Universal Purchase is also included in iOS 13.4, which allows users to buy an app or game once and install it on all Apple platforms.
