Amazon has unveiled televisions that it will ship in the United States under its own brand name. The Fire TV Omni Series TVs include the Alexa voice assistant. In addition, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max with Wi-Fi 6 support appears.

Amazon’s Fire TV Omni series televisions offer 4k resolution and come in 43″, 50″, 55″, 65″ and 75″ sizes. All models have support for HDR10, HLG and Dolby Digital Plus, but only the 65″ and 75″ models offer Dolby Vision. The televisions contain so-called far-field microphones to properly receive voice commands for the integrated Alexa voice assistant in living rooms. In combination with an external webcam, there is support for Alexa Calling and later this year, Zoom must also be supported.

Amazon will release the TVs only in the United States next month, with a starting price of $410 for the 43″ version and $1100 for the 75″ version. The company does not disclose which manufacturer produces the TVs, but TCL was mentioned in previous rumors. It is unknown if and when Amazon will bring the Fire TV Omni series to Europe.

Amazon is also adding a new streaming stick to its offering. This Fire TV Stick 4K Max includes a Mediatek MT7921LS chipset for Wi-Fi 6 support, 2GB of RAM and an unspecified quad-core SOC running at 1.8GHz. The stick supports streaming in 4k with HDR10 +, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, among others. The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max costs $55 in the US.

Amazon also mentions its own Luna game streaming service that works with the stick. That game service now also works on Chromebooks and recent Fire tablets. In addition, Amazon is adding the Couch feature to Luna, which allows gamers to play together even if they are not in the same room. Luna subscribers can invite third parties to play and they do not have to be a subscriber themselves to play.
