Acer, ASUS, Lenovo and Samsung announce the first laptops with Meteor Lake CPU

Shortly after the announcement of the Intel Meteor Lake CPU generation, Acer, ASUS, Lenovo and Samsung announce various laptops with the relevant processors. The first laptops with Meteor Lake-H processors from the new Core Ultra series are now available.

Intel announced the new laptop processors from the Meteor Lake generation under the name Core Ultra on Thursday afternoon. All eleven new CPUs use a new design, with Intel using chiplet-like tiles for the first time for the consumer segment. In addition, the processors are equipped with an integrated Arc GPU and an NPU intended for AI applications.

Acer Swift Go 14 and the Predator Triton Neo 16

Acer announces two new laptops with such a Core Ultra processor, namely the updated Swift Go 14 and the Predator Triton Neo 16. Like the previous models from the 14 series, the Swift Go 14 is equipped with an OLED screen and has a non-slip detailed Core Ultra processor. The brand says that this laptop is aimed at students and professionals due to the various AI features supported.

The new Predator Triton Neo 16 also has an unknown new Intel Core Ultra H processor, although that is probably a more powerful chip. The gaming laptop also has an RTX 40 series video card and a 16″ screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz. The laptops will be released early next year for an unknown starting price.

ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED

ASUS announces an updated version of the Zenbook 14 OLED, specifically with the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU. This processor has a maximum boost clock speed of 5.1GHz and has six performance cores, eight energy-efficient cores and two E-LP cores with an extra low clock speed.

Furthermore, the laptop has a 14″ OLED screen with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and 32GB Lpddr5x memory. The Zenbook 14 OLED in question will be available from the first quarter of 2024 for 1399 euros. The brand says that there is also a configuration with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H becomes available. This variant will be available from next week for 1299 euros.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 and IdeaPad Pro 5i

Lenovo IdeaPad Pro 5i

Lenovo announces three laptops, namely the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 and IdeaPad Pro 5i. In all cases, the brand supplies the laptops with an Intel Core Ultra CPU. The latter laptop will be available from the end of December for €1,099 and is available with a 14″ or 16″ OLED screen. In both cases there is the option to integrate an RTX 4050 GPU and an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H into the laptop. The Core Ultra 9 CPU will not be released until early 2024, so the IdeaPad Pro 5i in question will probably also be available.

The mentioned ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPad -1 variant will be released at the end of this month for at least 1099 euros.

Samsung Book4 Ultra, Book4 Pro and Book4 Pro 360

Finally also announces Samsung three new laptops with an Intel Core Ultra CPU on. The Galaxy Book4 Ultra will have a Core Ultra 9 185H and will be available with an RTX 4070 laptop GPU. This PC will initially be released in South Korea in January 2024. The 16″ laptop will later be released in Europe for an unknown price. An Ultra 7 variant of this laptop has also been announced.

The brand also announces the Book4 Pro 360 of 16″ and the Book4 Pro of 14″ or 16″. The laptops are equipped with an unknown Intel Core Ultra 5 or 7 CPU and use the integrated Arc GPUs of the regarding processors. Samsung is not yet announcing prices or release dates for the Book4 series.
