Lenovo is working on a version of its Yoga Slim 7i Pro laptop that will have an OLED screen. At the end of last year, the laptop already came out with an LCD. It is a 16:10 OLED panel with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The 14″ OLED screen that Lenovo uses is made by Samsung and can display 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. The panel shows 125 percent of the sRGB color space. Samsung Display announced earlier this year with several new OLED panels to come for laptops.

Lenovo puts the screen in the Yoga Slim 7i Pro. That is the Intel version of a thin 14 “laptop that was announced in August last year. There are also AMD versions, but there is no variant with an OLED panel for the time being.

The specifications are the same as previously released models. The laptop has a Tiger Lake processor with Xe GPU, or an optional GeForce MX450 GPU. The laptop has a maximum of 16GB of RAM, an SSD up to 1TB and a 61Wh battery.

Lenovo says it is working with Intel to fine-tune the laptop in order to obtain the Intel Evo certificate. The manufacturer expects the OLED version of the Yoga Slim 7i Pro to be available in Europe in the second quarter. A suggested retail price has not yet been announced.
