Xiaomi has announced three new phones in China, a Redmi Note 11 Pro+, Note 11 Pro and a regular Note 11. The two Pro variants are almost identical, although the Pro+ variant supports 120W fast charging. The ‘normal’ Pro model has a larger battery.
The two Redmi Note 11 Pro smartphones have a 6.67 “amoled screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a full-HD resolution, GSM Arena reports. The selfie camera is incorporated in a hole in the screen. Xiaomi provides the Note 11 Pro phones, including a MediaTek Dimensity 920-soc with Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores from Arm.The two phones will be available in variants with 6GB memory and 128GB storage, and 8GB memory with 128GB or 256GB storage.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ gets a 4500mAh battery that supports fast charging at 120W. According to Xiaomi, the battery can be fully charged in about 15 minutes. The Note 11 Pro supports 67W fast charging and gets a 5160mAh battery. The back of the devices will have a camera island with a primary Samsung HM2 sensor with 108-megapixel resolution. It is assisted by an ultra-wide-angle lens with an 8-megapixel sensor and a telephoto macro camera with a 2 megapixel resolution. The Pro devices will receive a 3.5mm jack, stereo speakers and dual SIM support.
Redmi Note 11: 6.6″ LCD at 90Hz, Dimensity 810 soc and 33W fast charging
The regular Note 11 is positioned lower than the Pro devices and therefore has a smaller 6.6 “screen with a lower refresh rate of 90Hz. The amoled panel of the Pro variants is also exchanged for an LCD, again with a full-HD The Dimensity 820-soc used also has A76 cores instead of A78 cores, the regular Note 11 also gets a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, a primary 50-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide angle lens.
The Redmi Note 11 will be released in China on November 1, and will receive a converted suggested retail price from 160 euros. For that money, a model with 4GB memory and 128GB storage is supplied. The manufacturer also comes with variants with more memory and storage. The Pro and Pro+ variants will follow on November 5 in China and will receive respective suggested retail prices from 227 and 268 euros. It is not yet known when the smartphones will be released outside of China, so official euro prices are not yet mentioned.
