Xiaomi announced the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro on Tuesday. The Chinese manufacturer provides the smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and a 48-megapixel camera for probably not much money. There is also a Redmi 7A.

The Redmi K20 Pro has a 20-megapixel pop-up camera on the front in addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and a 48-megapixel camera on the back. The 48-megapixel camera is based on a Sony IMX 586 with a pixel size of 0.8μm.

In addition, there is a wide-angle camera of 13 megapixels and one with telephoto lens of 8 megapixels on the back. The screen has a diagonal of 6.35 “and an amoled panel. Xiaomi releases variants with 6GB and 8GB ram and with 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage. The manufacturer mentions Chinese prices that are converted between 322 and 385 euros, but what the actual European prices remain to be seen.

There will also be a non-Pro version with a Snapdragon 730. It also has a 48-megapixel camera, but with the Sony IMX 582 sensor. The other specifications of the Redmi 20 are almost the same, such as those of the screen and the cameras. For example, both smartphones have a battery capacity of 4000mAH, although fast charging is possible with the Pro at 27W and with the K20 at a maximum of 18W. The K20 costs in China a maximum of 272 euros.

Xiaomi also announces the Redmi 7A with Snapdragon 439, 4000mAh battery, 10W charger and support for FM radio. This has a converted price of 77 euros, but again we have to wait for European prices. For example, the Redmi 6A with 3GB ram and 64GB storage is in the Pricewatch for 130 to 150 euros.

Finally, Xiaomi is releasing a laptop in the Redmi series for the first time. It has an Intel Whiskey Lake processor and Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU. It also gets 8GB DDR4 and a 512GB SSD. The price of the RedmiBook 14 is converted 518 euros.
