Watch new horror series on Facebook Watch

Do you already know Facebook Watch? It is clearly still in its infancy because a survey shows that the video service has little name recognition. If it is up to Facebook that will soon change. You can see Facebook Watch as a video platform with its own content, similar to YouTube . In a while we can look at a number of horror series that can be seen exclusively on the new platform. Crypt TV is going to make the series on behalf of Facebook and this should make the new platform more known.

Horror series The Birch
Crypt TV is commissioned by Facebook Watch to make a horror series that consists of 15 episodes and is called The Birch. The intention is that Crypt TV brings no less than 5 horror series to the Facebook Watch platform. The digital studio of Crypt was founded by Eli Roth and Jack Davis. In addition to The Birch, the other horror series will consist of 10 episodes.

Executive producer Davis told Deadline: “Crypt is delighted to be able to deliver our signature sample stories to a worldwide community on Facebook. This collaboration is a unique opportunity for Crypt to continue building our brand and our original horror to Facebook Watch. “

Crypt and Facebook collaboration
The cooperation between the two parties is not out of the blue. When Crypt TV started in 2015, it mainly shared the content on Facebook. Crypt now has 3 million followers on the platform. The purpose of the collaboration is to set up a personal ‘social video experience’ for Facebook Watch. The more than 2 billion Facebook users have to go to Facebook Watch more often because of this new offer. Last month the platform announced that 140 million people come to Facebook Watch every day and that number has doubled in the last six months.

Facebook Watch is free and has been available in the Netherlands and Belgium since last summer. Do you want to know what you can see exactly? Take a look at the platform and start with, for example, the new series of Human Discoversions including Zac Efron.
