ViewSonic brings out 32 "monitor with 4k resolution and hdr support

ViewSonic markets the VX3211-4K mhd, an unbuilt 31.5 “monitor with a va-panel with a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and has support for AMD’s FreeSync and hdr10. costs less than 500 euros

The ViewSonic VX3211-4K-mhd has a va-panel and therefore has a relatively high static contrast value of 3000: 1. The screen supports hdr10, but the brightness is 300cd / m² and that is not very high for a good HDR experience.This value is also too low to qualify for the lowest DisplayHDR qualification for which the maximum brightness must be at least 400cd / m²
The monitor has an 8-bit panel, which, according to ViewSonic by, among other things, the application of frame rate control should lead to an experience with better colors, as if it were a 10-bit panel. The screen can be 95 percent of the ntsc color noise imte and the maximum refresh rate is 60Hz. The VX3211-4K-mhd has AMD FreeSync, although it is not clear between which frequencies the refresh rate of the monitor is synchronized with the output of the gpu.
The screen has two built-in speakers with a capacity of 2.5W and some the connections are two hdmi 2.0 inputs and display port 1.2 present. The monitor can be tilted and has a 3.5 mm connection. According to ComputerBase the price is 495 euros.
