Update Adds Exo Mech To No Man’s Sky

With a free update, a mech suit has been added to No Man’s Sky. Players can use the Exo Mech to explore planets. The mech has full support for the VR versions of the game for the PlayStation 4 and Steam.

The full name of the Exo Mech is the Minotaur Heavy Exocraft Hybrid in the game. The walking robot was added on Tuesday with update 2.4 for the game. The mech is equipped with a jetpack and can therefore also fly.

The mech is an addition to the existing Exocraft in the game. Those are small vehicles to explore planets. The Minotaur is larger and more robust than the vehicles available to date. Players can use the mech to traverse areas of high temperature or harmful radiation.

It is also possible to operate the laser from the Minotaur to mine resources. This is not possible from other vehicles. No Man’s Sky came out in 2016. The game has since received many free expansions. Last year, the game was re-released as No Man’s Sky: Beyond with an online mode and VR support.
