Ubisoft has taken the servers of several other old games offline, which means that online services and multiplayer modes on certain platforms are no longer available. In total, the servers of roughly 90 games on various platforms have been taken offline so far.

In a recent blog post has Ubisoft Listed all games for which the servers for the mentioned platforms are no longer online. The new list is an addition to an earlier announcement by the publisher, which due to the closing of the used forum only accessible via Wayback Machine. Only eight titles have been added to the new list since the last snapshot, some of which have been banned from accessing online services for some time.

Taking the servers offline will affect how game owners can still use the product. The multiplayer mode of the affected games is no longer possible on the affected platforms. Also, player counts will no longer be visible and users in games using the Ubisoft Connect service will no longer be able to earn Units by completing Challenges.

It is also no longer possible to unlock unlockable content for the relevant games. When it comes to a game on the PC, the unlocked content can no longer even be used. For affected games on consoles, using already unlocked content is still available, provided the save file is not reset. In any case, new content can no longer be unlocked for the affected games on the relevant platforms.

Update, 9:20 PM: The original message explicitly stated that all games included in the new list were affected by the servers being taken offline. This was wrong. The existence of the old list of announcements and games already taken offline has been added to the article. Thanks to purge.
